Learning Outcome for Undergraduate Program in Electronics and Instrumentation

In accordance with the ideology of the State and the culture of the Indonesian Nation, then the implementation of the system the national education and job training system implemented in Indonesia at every level of qualification includes processes that develop affective, cognitive, and psychomotor aspects as follows:

i. Attitude

  1. Have faith in God Almighty.
  2. Have good morals, ethics and personality in completing their duties.
  3. Act as a citizen who is proud and loves the motherland and supports world peace.
  4. Able to work together and have social sensitivity and high concern for society and the environment.
  5. Appreciate the diversity of cultures, views, beliefs, and religions as well as other people’s original opinions/findings.
  6. Uphold law enforcement and have the spirit to prioritize the interests of the nation and the wider community.

ii. Knowledge

  1. Know and understand the basic concepts of knowledge in the field of electronics and instrumentation
  2. Able to apply the basic concepts of knowledge in the field of electronics and instrumentation
  3. Know and understand research methodology in the field of electronics and instrumentation
  4. Able to apply research methodology in the field of electronics and instrumentation
  5. Know and understand the concepts of cyber-physical systems, especially IoT, Robotics, and Industrial Automation
  6. Able to apply cyber-physical system concepts, especially IoT, Robotics, and Industrial Automation
  7. Have entrepreneurial insight in the field of electronics and instrumentation
  8. Know and understand the concepts of cyber-physical systems, especially IoT, Robotics, and Industrial Automation
  9. Able to apply cyber-physical system concepts, especially IoT, Robotics, and Industrial Automation
  10. Have entrepreneurial insight in the field of electronics and instrumentation

iii. General Skills

  1. Able to conduct literature research and carry out independent and group research.
  2. Have good interpersonal skills; able to work together in a team, both as a leader and a member; and able to share and delegate tasks.
  3. Have a sense of responsibility for one’s own work and can be given responsibility for the achievement of the work of the organization.
  4. Able to communicate effectively with stakeholders from various backgrounds; use one foreign language well; and able to write scientifically correctly and well.
  5. Have entrepreneurial skills in the field of Electronics and Instrumentation.
  6. Have the skills to deepen the knowledge they have previously acquired in the framework of lifelong learning.

iv. Special skill

  1. Able to carry out research in the field of electronics and instrumentation
  2. Able to utilize science and technology to solve problems in electronics and instrumentation
  3. Able to design and apply system prototypes in the field of cyber-physical systems, especially IoT, Robotics, and Industrial Automation

The learning outcomes of the Electronics and Instrumentation Study Program in the 2021 Curriculum have been compiled with reference to the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI). In the IQF, the S1 level is at level 6 with the competency descriptions at level 6 as follows:

  1. Able to utilize science and technology in their field of expertise, and able to adapt to situations encountered in solving problems.
  2. Mastering the theoretical concepts of a particular field of knowledge in general and the theoretical concepts of specific sections in that field of knowledge in depth and being able to formulate procedural problem solving.
  3. Able to make strategic decisions based on information and data analysis and provide guidance in choosing various alternative solutions. Able to move the community to become more efficient (community development).
  4. Responsible for own work and can be given responsibility for the achievement of organizational work.

The learning outcomes of the Electronics and Instrumentation Undergraduate Study Program are also compiled by taking into account the level of cognitive abilities or what is often called Bloom’s taxonomy. taxonomy Bloom consists of 6 levels, namely the ability to remember, understand, apply, analyze, synthesize, and evaluate. Table 2 shows the mapping of aspects of IQF learning achievement level 6 with the cognitive ability level of Bloom’s taxonomy. Description on each level as well as PLO (Learning Outcome Program) from the Electronics and Instrumentation Study Program in ASIIN international accreditation.

3 Work ability [PLO4]Problem solving skills Able to apply basic, theoretical and applied knowledge that has been obtained, as well as absorb the latest developments through independent and group research to find constructive solutions to problems encountered in the form of systems or products.
4 Managerial Ability [PLO5]Professional attitudes Have good interpersonal, communication and learner skills. Specifically able to work together in a team and have a sense of responsibility for one’s own work and be able to complete tasks to support the achievement of teamwork results; able to communicate with stakeholders from various backgrounds, use English, and write scientific papers according to the correct rules; have the skills to keep up with the latest developments in the field of electronics and instrumentation in particular and to deepen previously acquired knowledge in the context of lifelong learning.
