Laboratorium SKJ DIKE UGM Rencanakan Pemasangan Alat Monitoring Berbasis Energi Surya di Imogiri

Imogiri, 12 Mei 2025 – Tim dari Laboratorium Sistem Komputer dan Jaringan (SKJ), Departemen Ilmu Komputer dan Elektronika (DIKE) UGM, melaksanakan survei lapangan untuk merencanakan pemasangan perangkat monitoring lingkungan berbasis energi surya di Dusun Sriharjo, Kecamatan Imogiri, Kabupaten Bantul, sebagai bagian dari program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) tahun 2025.

Kegiatan ini dipimpin langsung oleh Prof. Dr. Tri Kuntoro Priyambodo, M.Sc. selaku Kepala Laboratorium SKJ, bersama Bapak Muhammad Husni Santriaji S.Si., M.T., M.S., Ph.D. selaku Ketua Kegiatan PkM. Tim juga melibatkan mahasiswa Tugas Khusus Lab SKJ, anggota Elins Research Club yakni Imki Laili, Fathia Khalida, Cindy Malakiano, Vina Lestari, Khansa Zada, Afta Putra, dan Tazakka Nutriatma, serta mendapatkan sambutan dan dukungan yang baik dari Kepala Dukuh Wunut, Desa Sriharjo, Bapak Sugiyanto.

Dalam pertemuan dan survei lokasi, disepakati bahwa perangkat monitoring akan dipasang sebagai modul pada tiang lampu bertenaga surya. Pendekatan ini tidak hanya memungkinkan pemantauan lingkungan seperti deteksi banjir tetapi juga memberikan manfaat tambahan berupa penerangan kawasan wisata dan fasilitas umum. Dua lokasi utama yang akan menjadi fokus tahap awal adalah area parkir dan area perkebunan. Area parkir akan dilengkapi dengan sistem penerangan dan alat deteksi banjir, sementara area perkebunan dirancang sebagai pusat konektivitas WiFi serta titik awal pengembangan sistem pertanian cerdas (smart farming) dan pertanian digital (e-farming). Pengembangan lebih lanjut akan melibatkan kolaborasi dengan Laboratorium Elektronika dan Instrumentasi (Elins) serta Fakultas Teknik Pertanian UGM. Untuk tahap awal, tim akan memfokuskan pada penyelesaian dan pemasangan dua unit tiang terlebih dahulu.

Kegiatan ini sekaligus berkontribusi dalam mendukung pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs). Inisiatif pengembangan e-farming di area perkebunan sejalan dengan SDG 2, yaitu mengakhiri kelaparan serta mendukung ketahanan pangan dan pertanian berkelanjutan. Pemanfaatan lampu bertenaga surya turut mendorong pencapaian SDG 7, yaitu memastikan akses terhadap energi yang terjangkau dan ramah lingkungan. Penerapan perangkat monitoring dan sistem konektivitas juga berperan dalam mewujudkan SDG 9, yang menekankan pentingnya infrastruktur tangguh, industrialisasi inklusif, dan inovasi. Selain itu, sistem penerangan dan peringatan dini yang dibangun mendukung SDG 11, yaitu menciptakan permukiman yang inklusif, aman, dan berkelanjutan bagi masyarakat.

Dengan menggabungkan pendekatan teknologi tepat guna, kolaborasi dari beberapa bidang, dan partisipasi masyarakat, Laboratorium SKJ DIKE UGM berharap kegiatan ini dapat menjadi contoh kontribusi perguruan tinggi dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan lokal secara inovatif.
