DIKE FMIPA UGM dan FSKM UiTM Cawangan Perlis Kolaborasi dalam Seminar Tech Bridge 2025

Perlis, 28 Juni 2025 – Departemen Ilmu Komputer dan Elektronika (DIKE), Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (FMIPA), Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) berkolaborasi dengan Fakulti Sains Komputer dan Matematik (FSKM), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Cawangan Perlis dalam menyelenggarakan seminar internasional bertajuk Tech Bridge 2025. Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari program International Academic Mobility yang mempertemukan sivitas akademika kedua institusi di Kampus UiTM Arau, Perlis.

Acara dibuka secara resmi oleh Ketua DIKE FMIPA UGM, Wahyono, Ph.D., bersama Deputy Rector for Academic Affairs UiTM Perlis, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmad Fikri Mohd Kassim, serta dihadiri oleh jajaran dosen dan staf FSKM, mahasiswa DIKE UGM, dan mahasiswa FSKM UiTM Cawangan Perlis.

Forum Tech Bridge 2025 menghadirkan dua pembicara utama. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Andi Dharmawan dari DIKE FMIPA UGM menyampaikan materi bertajuk “Intelligent Robotics” yang mengulas integrasi kecerdasan buatan dalam sistem robotika modern. Ia menekankan peran Large Language Models (LLM) dalam mendorong perkembangan Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) dan Human-Robot Collaboration (HRC), yang memungkinkan robot memahami bahasa alami dan bekerja berdampingan dengan manusia secara adaptif. Ia juga menyoroti penggunaan Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs) untuk meningkatkan akurasi simulasi dan kontrol robot pada sistem fisik kompleks.

Sementara itu, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shukor Sanim Mohd Fauzi dari UiTM menyampaikan presentasi berjudul “Co-Inventing the Future: Strategic Alliances between Academia and Industry in Computing.” Ia menggarisbawahi pentingnya kolaborasi antara institusi pendidikan tinggi dan sektor industri untuk menciptakan inovasi digital yang berdampak luas dan berkelanjutan.

Setelah sesi seminar, kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan cultural study yang mempertemukan dosen dan mahasiswa dari kedua institusi dalam suasana informal dan interaktif. Aktivitas ini tidak hanya mempererat hubungan akademik, tetapi juga membuka ruang pertukaran budaya yang konstruktif.

Kegiatan ini sekaligus mendukung pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs), khususnya SDG 4 (Quality Education) melalui peningkatan akses mahasiswa terhadap ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi mutakhir, serta SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) melalui penguatan kemitraan strategis antar institusi pendidikan lintas negara.
