Graduates Competencies Standard

Graduate competency standards (Standard Kompetensi Kelulusan, SKL) are important to determine the competencies of graduates of the Computer Science study program. Furthermore, SKL is used as a reference in student assessment and as a guide for curriculum preparation. What is part of this formulation chapter is the profile of graduates, profession/employment of graduates, and graduate learning outcomes (CPL).

Graduates Profile

Graduate profile is a benchmark in determining competency standards for graduates of Computer Science study programs. Mastery of knowledge in the topic of Computer Science is reflected in several profiles that have been formulated. Graduates of the Computer Science Study Program have five main profiles (1) Computer Scientist, (2) Artificial Intelligence Engineer, (3) Data Scientist, (4) Software Engineer, (5) Cloud Engineer, and (6) Digital Entrepreneur. The detailed explanation of each profile is described in Table below..

Table Graduates Profile of the Undergraduate Program in Computer Science

Profile Name Description
1 Computer Scientist Graduates who apply computer science concepts to build efficient problem solving.
2 Artificial Intelligence Engineer Graduates who apply artificial intelligence concepts, such as machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, expert systems, decision support systems, pattern recognition, and computational intelligence, to gain insights from existing data.
3 Data Scientist Graduates who apply the concepts of collecting and extracting raw data and processing and analyzing them to obtain useful information.
4 Software Engineer Graduates who apply software engineering concepts in analyzing requirements, designing, developing, testing and evaluating software.
5 Cloud Engineer Graduates who apply the concepts of design, planning, management and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure.
6 Digital Enterpreneur Graduates who use information and communication technology to run businesses digitally.

Professions for the Graduates

Graduates of the Computer Science Study Program have the opportunity to work in various places including (but not limited to): State-Owned Enterprises, International Companies, Start-up Companies, or Government Institutions. However, in addition to directly working, graduates can continue their master’s studies abroad such as Australia, Korea, or the European Union.
