DIKE UGM Berkolaborasi dengan ITB dan TU Wien Kembangkan Sistem Manajemen Data Riset Nasional

Bandung, 17 Juni 2025 – Departemen Ilmu Komputer dan Elektronika (DIKE) Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) menjalin kolaborasi bersama Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) dan Technische Universität Wien (TU Wien), Austria, untuk merancang manajemen data riset di Indonesia. Pertemuan ini merupakan bagian dari kerja sama jaringan ASEA-UNINET dan digelar di kampus ITB untuk memperkuat ekosistem riset nasional pada pemanfaatan data secara profesional dan terstandar.

Dalam pertemuan ini, delegasi dari DIKE UGM yaitu Dr.techn. Guntur Budi Herwanto dan Dr.techn. Khabib Mustofa, yang menyampaikan kebutuhan dan tantangan dalam pengelolaan data riset di lingkungan UGM. Keduanya berdiskusi secara intensif dengan perwakilan dari TU Wien, Dr. Florina Piroi, DI., Ao.univ.Prof. Dr. Andreas Rauber, dan Martin Weise yang berbagi pengalamannya dalam mengembangkan sistem data di Eropa. Diskusi dipandu oleh tim informatika ITB yang diketuai oleh Dr. tech. Wikan Danar Sunindyo, S.T, M.Sc..

Salah satu pembahasan pertemuan ini adalah bagaimana membangun sistem manajemen data riset yang kohesif, efisien, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan institusi pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia. Arsitektur sistem mencakup integrasi berbagai platform, mulai dari DSpace untuk publikasi ilmiah, GitLab untuk pengelolaan kode, hingga Invenio dan DBRepo sebagai repositori data dan basis data. Tak hanya itu, DAMAP juga diperkenalkan sebagai alat bantu penyusunan rencana manajemen data sejak awal penelitian.

Sesi diskusi juga membahas pentingnya menciptakan lingkungan riset virtual (Virtual Research Environment) yang mendukung aktivitas analisis data interaktif melalui platform seperti JupyterHub. Sementara itu, aspek keamanan data riset, terutama data sensitif, turut menjadi perhatian melalui eksplorasi platform seperti OSSDIP yang menjamin privasi dan akuntabilitas dalam pengelolaan data penelitian.

Kegiatan ini juga berkontribusi pada pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs), khususnya SDG 4 (Pendidikan Berkualitas) melalui peningkatan infrastruktur akademik, SDG 9 (Industri, Inovasi, dan Infrastruktur) dalam membangun sistem digital riset nasional, serta SDG 17 (Kemitraan untuk Mencapai Tujuan) melalui kolaborasi internasional berbasis pertukaran pengetahuan dan inovasi teknologi.
