DIKE UGM Sukses Selenggarakan Penutupan DCSE Summer Course 2025

Yogyakarta, 5 Agustus 2025 – Departemen Ilmu Komputer dan Elektronika (DIKE) FMIPA Universitas Gadjah Mada resmi menutup rangkaian kegiatan DCSE Summer Course 2025 yang mengusung tema “AI and Robotics in Society 5.0.” Penutupan berlangsung secara daring melalui platform Zoom yang diikuti oleh peserta dari berbagai negara dan bidang ilmu. Selama sembilan hari pelaksanaan, program ini berhasil memperluas wawasan peserta dalam bidang kecerdasan artifisial dan robotika, serta membuka ruang kolaborasi lintas negara, budaya, dan disiplin ilmu.

Acara penutupan diawali dengan sambutan penutup yang disampaikan oleh Dr.techn. Guntur Budi Herwanto, M.Cs., selaku Ketua Pelaksana. Dalam paparannya, beliau menyampaikan kilas balik pelaksanaan kegiatan mulai dari live session, tutorial, cultural exchange hingga student project presentation yang mencerminkan antusiasme dan kolaborasi para peserta lintas budaya. Beliau juga memberikan apresiasi atas semangat peserta dalam menyelesaikan proyek dan pembelajaran yang dilakukan selama program berlangsung.

Acara dilanjutkan dengan sambutan dari Wahyono, S.Kom., Ph.D., selaku Ketua DIKE UGM. Beliau menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih kepada seluruh peserta atas partisipasi aktif dan kolaborasi yang telah terjalin. Dalam kesempatan ini, Wahyono juga memperkenalkan skema Global Talent Scholarship yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh peserta internasional untuk melanjutkan studi di DIKE UGM, baik di program magister maupun doktor. Sambutan dari fakultas disampaikan oleh Prof. Drs. Roto, M.Eng., Ph.D., Wakil Dekan Bidang Pendidikan, Pengajaran, dan Kemahasiswaan FMIPA UGM. Prof. Roto menyampaikan apresiasi atas keberhasilan seluruh peserta menyelesaikan program dengan baik, serta menekankan bahwa FMIPA UGM berkomitmen dalam mendukung pembelajaran yang berbasis teori dan praktik, sesuai dengan perkembangan dan kebutuhan teknologi di era Society 5.0. 

Pesan penutup juga disampaikan oleh Prof. Dr. Puji Astuti, S.Si., M.Sc., Apt., selaku perwakilan Direktorat Kemitraan, Riset, dan Inovasi Global (DKRG) UGM. Dalam sambutannya, Prof. Puji menyampaikan relevansi dan perkembangan AI dalam menjawab tantangan masa depan. Ia turut mengundang peserta untuk melanjutkan studi di UGM melalui program magister dan doktor sebagai bagian dari kontribusi global dalam riset dan pengembangan AI.

Acara dilanjutkan dengan sesi pemberian penghargaan dan sertifikat. Penghargaan Best Project diberikan kepada tim yang mengusung judul  “Human-justifyLearning Platform with Explainable AI for Sustainable Urban Lettuce Hydroponics”. Tim ini terdiri atas Kadek Cahya Dewi, David Natawidjaya D., dan Nurul Hasanah dari Indonesia, serta Namubiru Jalillah dari Uganda. Proyek mereka dinilai mampu mengintegrasikan teknologi AI yang dapat dijelaskan (explainable AI) dalam solusi pertanian perkotaan berkelanjutan, sejalan dengan inovasi dan keberlanjutan yang diusung dalam tema summer course. Kegiatan ditutup dengan sesi foto bersama seluruh peserta dan panitia sebagai simbol perpisahan yang hangat.

DCSE Summer Course 2025 ini juga berkontribusi terhadap pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs). khususnya pada tujuan ke-4 (Pendidikan Berkualitas), tujuan ke-9 (Industri, Inovasi, dan Infrastruktur), serta tujuan ke-17 (Kemitraan untuk Mencapai Tujuan), dengan mendorong kolaborasi global, akses pembelajaran lintas negara, dan pemanfaatan teknologi cerdas untuk menjawab tantangan masa depan secara berkelanjutan.
