DIKE UGM Terima Kunjungan Tim BRIN untuk Koordinasi Riset Cyclotron

Yogyakarta, 20 Mei 2025 – Departemen Ilmu Komputer dan Elektronika (DIKE) Universitas Gadjah Mada menerima kunjungan resmi dari tim Pusat Riset Teknologi Akselerator Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (BRIN) yang diketuai oleh Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rifai. Kunjungan ini disambut langsung oleh Prof. Dr. Tri Kuntoro Priyambodo selaku Kepala Laboratorium Sistem Komputer dan Jaringan (SKJ) DIKE. Sebanyak 14 peneliti BRIN hadir dalam kunjungan yang berlangsung selama dua hari, 20 dan 21 Mei 2025.

Agenda utama pertemuan mencakup pembahasan Kegiatan Platform Kolaborasi Teknologi Akselerator untuk Medis dan Industri bersama UGM, serta koordinasi terkait pengadaan barang dan jasa dalam skema RIIM Invitasi Strategis. Pertemuan ini juga menjadi bagian dari kelanjutan riset bersama mengenai pengembangan sistem impedance matching untuk akselerator jenis cyclotron.

Tim DIKE UGM yang terlibat dalam proyek ini merupakan kolaborasi lintas laboratorium, yaitu Lab SKJ, Lab Sistem Tertanam dan Robotika, serta Lab ELINS. Tim ini telah menerima pendanaan sebesar Rp 350 juta untuk periode 2025-2026 guna merancang dan merealisasikan sistem impedance matching sebagai dukungan teknologi pada akselerator.

Pada siang harinya, tim peneliti UGM yang diketuai oleh Muhammad Husni Santriaji, Ph.D. (Lab SKJ), bersama Tri Wahyu Supardi, M.Cs. (Lab ELINS), serta enam mahasiswa Program Magister Elektronika dan Instrumentasi, melakukan kunjungan balasan ke fasilitas BRIN. Dalam kunjungan tersebut, tim melakukan survei langsung terhadap sensor dan konektor pada sistem cyclotron, serta menjajaki dukungan teknis dalam program revitalisasi sistem daya (power system) akselerator.

Kolaborasi ini diharapkan memperkuat kerjasama antara akademisi dan lembaga penelitian nasional dalam pengembangan teknologi akselerator untuk kebutuhan medis dan industri di Indonesia. Kegiatan ini juga mendukung pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs), khususnya SDG 4 (pendidikan berkualitas) melalui pelibatan mahasiswa dalam riset teknologi tinggi, SDG 7 (energi bersih dan terjangkau) lewat revitalisasi sistem daya akselerator, SDG 9 (industri, inovasi, dan infrastruktur) dalam pengembangan teknologi medis dan industri, serta SDG 17 (kemitraan untuk tujuan) melalui kolaborasi strategis antara perguruan tinggi dan lembaga riset nasional.
