Kunjungan dan Sosialisasi Program Magister Elektronika dan Instrumentasi DIKE UGM ke UNNES dan UDINUS

Semarang, 27 Mei 2025 – Program Magister Elektronika dan Instrumentasi Departemen Ilmu Komputer dan Elektronika (DIKE) UGM mengadakan kunjungan serta sosialisasi akademik kedua perguruan tinggi di Kota Semarang, yaitu Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) dan Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (UDINUS), pada tanggal 26 dan 27 Mei 2025. Kegiatan ini dilakukan untuk memperkenalkan program studi, membangun peluang kerjasama, serta menarik minat calon mahasiswa untuk melanjutkan studi ke jenjang pascasarjana.

Tim UGM terdiri dari satu dosen pendamping dan empat mahasiswa Program Magister Elektronika dan Instrumentasi (MEI). Pada 26 Mei, kunjungan dilaksanakan di Program Studi Fisika FMIPA UNNES dan disambut antusias oleh dosen serta mahasiswa. Diskusi berlangsung interaktif, dengan pembahasan terkait peluang riset serta skema studi pascasarjana di DIKE UGM.

Keesokan harinya, tim melanjutkan kunjungan ke Fakultas Teknik UDINUS, khususnya Program Studi Teknik Industri dan Teknik Elektro. Rombongan UGM kembali disambut hangat oleh para dosen dan mahasiswa yang menunjukkan ketertarikan besar terhadap program studi MEI, dan juga riset unggulan di bidang teknologi instrumentasi dan kecerdasan buatan.

Pada sesi sosialisasi, tim memperkenalkan Program MEI secara menyeluruh, mencakup visi dan misi, keunggulan akademik, hingga prospek lulusan. Penjelasan juga mencakup fleksibilitas jalur studi, yakni kelas reguler, by research, dan profesional berbasis minat. Selain itu, dipaparkan juga topik-topik riset terkini, seperti sistem kendaraan otonom, pesawat tanpa awak, pengenalan wajah berbasis computer vision, smart home berbasis IoT, serta deteksi detak jantung menggunakan sensor PPG dan FPGA.

Selama kegiatan ini berlangsung, mahasiswa dari kedua perguruan tinggi menunjukkan ketertarikan yang tinggi terhadap berbagai tema tersebut, terutama karena relevansinya dengan tantangan teknologi dan industri masa kini. Tim juga menyampaikan informasi tentang peluang beasiswa seperti LPDP, Beasiswa DIKE, dan Beasiswa BRIN, serta program double degree dengan universitas mitra internasional seperti di Jepang, Taiwan, Inggris, dan Australia.

Kegiatan ini juga turut mendukung pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs), khususnya SDG 4 (Pendidikan Berkualitas) melalui perluasan akses pendidikan pascasarjana berbasis riset dan inovasi, SDG 9 (Industri, Inovasi, dan Infrastruktur) melalui pengenalan riset teknologi terapan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri, serta SDG 17 (Kemitraan untuk Mencapai Tujuan) melalui penguatan kerjasama antar perguruan tinggi di bidang pendidikan dan penelitian. Melalui kunjungan ini, Program Magister Elektronika dan Instrumentasi DIKE UGM tidak hanya memperluas hubungan akademik, tetapi juga membuka kesempatan kolaborasi riset yang berkelanjutan.
