Lab Riset​ Sistem Tertanam dan Robotika​

Laboratorium Riset Sistem Tertanam dan Robotika di Departemen Ilmu Komputer dan Elektronika FMIPA UGM merupakan salah satu fasilitas unggulan untuk mendukung riset dan pengembangan di bidang teknologi sistem tertanam dan robotika. Laboratorium ini berfokus pada penelitian dan pengembangan sistem tertanam yang mencakup perangkat keras (hardware) serta perangkat lunak (software) yang digunakan untuk mengendalikan berbagai perangkat otomatis, termasuk robot. Sistem tertanam adalah sistem komputasi yang terintegrasi dengan perangkat untuk menjalankan fungsi spesifik, seperti pengendalian mesin, robot, atau alat otomatis lainnya.

Dalam bidang robotika, laboratorium ini memiliki berbagai jenis robot, mulai dari robot humanoid hingga robot manipulator, yang digunakan untuk penelitian dan pengembangan di berbagai bidang seperti kecerdasan buatan, pemrosesan sinyal, serta kontrol robotik. Salah satu fokus utama penelitian di laboratorium ini adalah pengembangan algoritma kontrol untuk robot agar dapat bergerak secara otonom, serta integrasi sensor untuk mendukung kemampuan robot dalam mendeteksi dan berinteraksi dengan lingkungannya.

Selain itu, laboratorium ini juga mendukung penelitian di bidang Internet of Things (IoT), di mana perangkat tertanam dihubungkan dengan jaringan untuk saling berkomunikasi dan bertukar data. Pengembangan sistem IoT ini penting dalam banyak aplikasi modern, seperti rumah pintar, kota pintar, dan berbagai inovasi industri yang memanfaatkan konektivitas dan otomatisasi.

Secara umum, Laboratorium Riset Sistem Tertanam dan Robotika berperan penting dalam memfasilitasi mahasiswa dan peneliti dalam mengembangkan proyek-proyek penelitian yang relevan dengan perkembangan teknologi terbaru. Laboratorium ini juga berfungsi sebagai wadah untuk kolaborasi dengan industri dan institusi penelitian lain, baik dalam skala nasional maupun internasional, guna menghasilkan solusi inovatif yang dapat diaplikasikan dalam berbagai sektor.
