Yogyakarta, 23 Juli 2025 – Laboratorium Sistem Tertanam dan Robotika (STR), Departemen Ilmu Komputer dan Elektronika (DIKE) FMIPA Universitas Gadjah Mada, menjalin kerjasama dengan PT Stechoq Robotika Indonesia dan PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (TMMIN). Pertemuan yang berlangsung di Ruang Sidang FMIPA UGM ini menjadi awal dari kolaborasi riset dan pengembangan teknologi embedded system, robotika, serta otomasi industri dengan melibatkan para dosen, peneliti, dan praktisi dari ketiga institusi.

Dalam sesi diskusi, para peserta membahas berbagai kebutuhan industri otomotif terhadap sistem cerdas dan adaptif. Salah satu fokus pembahasan adalah pengembangan sistem monitoring prediktif untuk lini produksi dan penggunaan robot kolaboratif (cobots) yang mampu bekerja berdampingan dengan manusia secara aman dan efisien. Kebutuhan ini sejalan dengan tantangan industri yang terus berkembang menuju otomasi dan digitalisasi.

Sebagai laboratorium riset yang telah lama bergerak di bidang sistem tertanam dan otomasi cerdas, Lab STR DIKE UGM menawarkan sejumlah inisiatif kolaboratif. Di antaranya adalah pengembangan sistem kendali adaptif berbasis AI, integrasi sensor untuk perawatan prediktif (predictive maintenance), desain robot inspeksi berukuran kecil untuk area terbatas di pabrik, serta peluang magang dan tugas akhir mahasiswa yang terhubung langsung dengan permasalahan industri.

Pihak PT Stechoq dan TMMIN menyambut baik kerja sama ini, sekaligus menyampaikan pentingnya penyelarasan antara kurikulum perguruan tinggi dan kebutuhan industri masa kini. Kolaborasi ini diharapkan mampu menciptakan talenta digital yang tidak hanya unggul secara teori, tetapi juga terampil dalam merancang dan menerapkan solusi teknis yang aplikatif di lingkungan kerja.

Diskusi ini juga menandai komitmen bersama untuk memperkuat peran riset dalam mendukung pengembangan teknologi nasional. Rencana tindak lanjut seperti penandatanganan nota kesepahaman (MoU), pelaksanaan riset bersama, serta pelatihan dan peningkatan kapasitas SDM menjadi bagian dari rencana kolaborasi jangka panjang.

Kolaborasi ini berkontribusi terhadap pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs), terutama SDG 4 (Pendidikan Berkualitas) melalui integrasi pembelajaran dengan praktik industri, SDG 9 (Industri, Inovasi, dan Infrastruktur) lewat penguatan ekosistem riset dan teknologi, serta SDG 17 (Kemitraan untuk Mencapai Tujuan) melalui kerja sama lintas sektor yang strategis. Dengan langkah ini, DIKE UGM semakin menunjukkan perannya dalam membangun inovasi berbasis kolaborasi yang berdampak luas bagi pendidikan dan kemajuan teknologi nasional.
