Lab STR DIKE UGM Terima Kunjungan Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison

Yogyakarta, 27 Agustus 2025 – Laboratorium Sistem Tertanam dan Robotika (Lab STR) Departemen Ilmu Komputer dan Elektronika (DIKE) FMIPA UGM menerima kunjungan dari Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison. Rombongan dipimpin oleh Ajar Edi, Senior Vice President – Head of Regulatory and Government Affairs. Kegiatan ini berlangsung di Lab STR dengan fokus pada peluang kolaborasi di bidang sistem tertanam, robotika, dan transformasi digital.

Rombongan Indosat didampingi oleh Dr. Mardhani Riasetiawan, S.E., Ak., M.T., Direktur Kantor Transformasi Digital UGM, serta Laode Untung dari Keluarga Alumni Gadjah Mada (KAGAMA) UGM. Kehadiran mereka disambut langsung oleh pimpinan fakultas dan departemen, antara lain Prof. Drs. Roto, M.Eng., Ph.D., Wakil Dekan Bidang Pendidikan, Pengajaran, dan Kemahasiswaan FMIPA UGM, serta Dr. Andi Dharmawan, S.Si., M.Cs., Sekretaris Departemen IKE. Hadir pula Prof. Dr. Ir. Jazi Eko Istiyanto, M.Sc., IPU, ASEAN Eng., Kepala Laboratorium Sistem Tertanam dan Robotika, Dr. techn. Aufaclav Zatu Kusuma Frisky, S.Si., M.Sc., Kepala Laboratorium Instrumentasi Dasar, serta Bakhtiar Alldino Ardi Sumbodo, S.Si., M.Cs., dosen DIKE yang aktif meneliti robotika dan wireless sensor networks.

Diskusi yang berlangsung membahas potensi kolaborasi riset di berbagai bidang. Beberapa fokus utama meliputi pengembangan drone cerdas, sistem kendali otomatis, integrasi kecerdasan buatan, dan teknologi komunikasi digital. Pihak Indosat menyampaikan dukungannya dalam menjembatani riset kampus dengan implementasi di dunia industri, sehingga inovasi yang diciptakan di laboratorium dapat memberikan dampak pada masyarakat.

Selain aspek teknis, pertemuan ini juga menegaskan pentingnya kemitraan yang melibatkan alumni. Kehadiran perwakilan KAGAMA menjadi bukti bahwa kolaborasi antara universitas, industri, dan alumni mampu memperkuat ekosistem inovasi, tidak hanya melalui pertukaran pengetahuan, tetapi juga dengan membuka peluang pendanaan riset serta pemanfaatan hasil penelitian pada skala nasional. Kunjungan ini sekaligus menunjukkan Lab STR sebagai pusat riset unggulan yang memadukan keilmuan multidisiplin, fasilitas laboratorium yang mumpuni, serta dukungan berbagai mitra, sehingga mampu menghasilkan inovasi yang relevan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat dan berkontribusi pada percepatan transformasi digital di Indonesia.

Kegiatan ini sejalan dengan pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), khususnya SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure melalui pengembangan riset dan teknologi inovatif, serta SDG 17: Partnership for the Goals dengan memperkuat kolaborasi lintas sektor. Kerjasama yang terbangun ini diharapkan dapat menghasilkan solusi teknologi yang tidak hanya berdaya saing, tetapi juga berkontribusi pada pembangunan berkelanjutan.
