Laboratorium Elektronika dan Instrumentasi berperan dalam acara Meet and Greet: AI-Based Innovators & Researchers

Yogyakarta, 30 April 2025 – Biro Transformasi Digital, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) menyelenggarakan acara Meet and Greet dengan judul AI-Based Innovators & Researchers. Hal ini sejalan dengan kepentingan Biro Transformasi Digital untuk mewujudkan transformasi digital di UGM demi memenuhi kebutuhan strategis agar institusi tetap relevan dan kompetitif. Tren menarik adalah teknologi AI, yang menjadi kunci dalam menjawab tantangan efisiensi operasional, perluasan akses pembelajaran, dan pengembangan solusi berbasis data. Kegiatan ini merupakan sebuah sebuah matchmaking dan networking session yang mempertemukan para peneliti lintas disiplin untuk saling berbagi dan menjalin kolaborasi dalam pemanfaatan kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) dalam berbagai bidang ilmu.

Forum sesi pertama ini, dilaksanakan di Ruang Multimedia 1, Kantor Pusat UGM dan dihadiri puluhan tamu undangan dari berbagai fakultas, komunitas dan pegiat di bidang AI. Acara ini menghadirkan beberapa narasumber ahli, salah satunya Dr. Raden Sumiharto, S.Si., M.Kom. selaku Kepala Laboratorium Elektronika dan Instrumentasi (Lab. Elins), Departemen Ilmu Komputer dan Elektronika, FMIPA, UGM. Adapun topik yang disampaikan terkait Penelitian-Penelitian di Lab. Elins tahun 2025, yang tentunya bersinggungan banyak dengan AI dan bidang-bidang penelitian lainnya. Hal ini juga sebagai penanda peran Lab. Elins dalam acara ini.

Beberapa inovasi dan topik riset unggulan yang dipresentasikan meliputi:

  • Smart Agriculture – Deteksi dini penyakit tanaman (Layu Fusarium) berbasis e-nose, citra multispektral, dan drone. Sistem pemantauan terpadu ini dikembangkan dalam platform Agri Watch Net (AWN)
  • Smart Health Monitoring – Teknologi sensor dan perangkat wearable untuk pemantauan kesehatan manusia dan lingkungan secara real-time.
  • Disaster Monitoring System – Sistem UAV amfibi dan sensor tahan cuaca untuk pemantauan kondisi kebencanaan.
  • Intelligent Traffic Control – Sistem lalu lintas adaptif dengan pengolahan data real-time dan pendekatan reinforcement learning.
  • Digital Twin dan Non-Destructive Testing – Replikasi digital dari sistem fisik dan pengujian material tanpa merusak.
  • Preservasi Warisan Budaya – Pelestarian budaya berbasis computer vision.

Selain itu, turut disampaikan pula produk riset dan kolaborasi seperti ERISPRO (alat uji kualitas benih), sistem informasi potensi longsor tingkat desa (SLiDE), dan berbagai pengembangan sistem instrumentasi presisi dan cerdas lainnya. Selain itu narasumber lain dalam forum diantaranya; Prof. Dr. Mirwan Ushada, STP, M.App.Life, Sc.; dr. Dian Kesumapramudya Nurputra, M.Sc, Ph.D., SpA, Subsp.Neuro(K).; dr. M. Lutfan Lazuardi, M.Kes., Ph.D.; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng Sunu Wibirama, ST., M.Eng,. IPM.; dan dr. Eric Daniel Tenda, DIC., Ph.D., Sp.PD., K-PMK., FINASIM., FISQUA.

Pada kesempatan seminar ini, para narasumber lainnya menyampaikan materi Pemanfaatan AI dalam Internet of Things: Sensor Mata dan Potensi Kesehatan; Used Case Pemanfaatan AI di bidang diagnostik: Potensi Kolaborasi dan Tantangan; Used Case Potensi Pemanfaatan Ai di bidang Health: Big Data dan Kebijakan Kesehatan; Potensi dan Peluang Pandangan Riset Berbasis AI; dan Strategi Kolaborasi dalam Riset AI (Meet the Demand from Medicine).

Riset-riset dari Lab. Elins DIKE FMIPA UGM tentu saja memiliki potensi dalam pemenuhan SDGs 2 sebagai pengembangan dan inovasi dalam bidang pertanian presisi dan ketahanan pangan; SDG 3 dalam pengembangan sistem monitoring kesehatan yang cerdas dan terjangkau; SDGs 9 pada penerapan teknologi dalam infrastruktur, pengujian material, dan otomasi industri. Selain itu dalam kegiatan ini Lab. Elins berperan dalam SDGs 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities).
