Prodi MKOM DIKE Gelar Sosialisasi Pendampingan Kompetisi, Sertifikasi, dan International Conference

Yogyakarta, 8 Mei 2025 – Program Studi Magister Ilmu Komputer, Departemen Ilmu Komputer dan Elektronika (DIKE) FMIPA UGM menyelenggarakan kegiatan Sosialisasi Pendampingan Kompetisi, Sertifikasi, dan International Conference pada Kamis, 8 Mei 2025, bertempat di Ruang Sidang Turing DIKE, lantai 4 FMIPA UGM.

Kegiatan ini menghadirkan tiga narasumber, yaitu Dr. techn. Aufaclav Zatu Kusuma Frisky, S.Si., M.Sc., Oskar Natan, S.ST., M.Tr.T., Ph.D., dan Dr. techn. Kabul Kurniawan, S.Si., M.Kom. Ketiga narasumber secara bergantian berbagi pengalaman seputar proses seleksi kompetisi, tantangan dalam mengikuti sertifikasi profesional, serta strategi publikasi ilmiah pada forum internasional. Diskusi yang berlangsung secara interaktif membuka wawasan mahasiswa tentang berbagai jalur pengembangan diri yang dapat ditempuh selama masa studi. Melalui sesi ini juga, mahasiswa memperoleh banyak informasi mengenai peluang mengikuti kompetisi teknologi dan inovasi, sertifikasi yang diakui secara nasional dan internasional, serta panduan dalam mengikuti konferensi ilmiah bereputasi. 

Sekretaris Program Studi Magister Ilmu Komputer, Dr. Dyah Aruming Tyas, S.Si., menyampaikan perlunya membangun budaya akademik yang mendukung pencapaian prestasi di tingkat internasional dan juga program pendampingan ini tidak berhenti pada tahap sosialisasi, melainkan akan akan terus berlanjut melalui berbagai bentuk dukungan, mulai dari konsultasi teknis, mentoring, hingga pendampingan administratif seperti persiapan dokumen dan fasilitasi pendanaan.

Dengan terselenggaranya kegiatan ini, Prodi Magister Ilmu Komputer berharap dapat menghasilkan lulusan yang tidak hanya unggul secara akademis, tetapi juga turut berkontribusi dalam kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi di taraf internasional. Sosialisasi ini menjadi langkah awal dalam membentuk komunitas akademik yang mampu berkembang dan berinovasi di tingkat internasional.

Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari komitmen program studi dalam mendukung pengembangan mahasiswa di bidang akademik, dan profesional. Selain itu, sosialisasi ini juga sejalan dengan pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs), khususnya tujuan ke-4 (Pendidikan Berkualitas), ke-9 (Inovasi, Infrastruktur, dan Industri), serta ke-17 (Kemitraan untuk Mencapai Tujuan).
