Tim Asesor LAMINFOKOM Lakukan Visitasi Akreditasi Nasional Program Studi Magister Ilmu Komputer FMIPA UGM

Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri Informatika & Komputer (LAM INFOKOM), kembali melakukan asesmen dan visitasi ke kampus UGM selama tiga hari, kamis s.d. sabtu (7-9/3/2024), dalam rangka menindaklanjuti pengajuan akreditasi nasional Program Studi Magister Ilmu Komputer FMIPA UGM yang sudah diajukan sebelumnya. Dua asesor dari perwakilan LAM INFOKOM yang melakukan visitasi adalah Prof. Heru Suhartanto, Drs., M.Sc., Ph.D., dan Prof. Dr. Eng. Chastine Fathichah, S.Kom., M.Kom.

Dr. Dyah Aruming Tyas, S.Si. selaku Sekretaris Program Studi Magister Ilmu Komputer mengatakan bahwa untuk pengajuan akreditasi nasional LAM INFOKOM untuk prodi Magister Ilmu Komputer ini untuk pertama kalinya diajukan. “Saya kira ini untuk pertama kalinya mengajukan akreditasi pada LAMINFOKOM, karena sebelumnya pengajuan pada BAN-PT,” katanya.

Terdapat juga sesi wawancara terhadap tenaga kependidikan di Departemen Ilmu Komputer dan Elektronika FMIPA UGM. Beberapa hal yang ditanyakan oleh asesor pada tenaga kependidikan antara lain mengenai pengelolaan jurnal ilmiah, hibah penelitian, pengelolaan Lab. Riset, administrasi keuangan dan pengelolaan administrasi prodi magister ilmu komputer.

 

Asesor LAM INFOKOM, Prof. Heru Suhartanto, Drs., M.Sc., Ph.D., mengatakan pada visitasi kali ini pihaknya ingin mendengar masukan dan kendala yg dihadapi oleh tenaga kependidikan terkait dengan administratif dan sumber daya. “Kami ingin menjaring masukan ataupun kendala yg dialami para tenaga kependidikan selama ini agar dapat menjadi masukan bagi pihak pengelola prodi yang tentunya bertujuan untuk dapat lebih baik kedepannya,” katanya.

Selain itu, asesor juga mengevaluasi dari sisi pengembangan soft skill dan kesejahteraan bagi tenaga kependidikan untuk memastikan bahwa telah sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan perkembangan pada saat ini.

Menurut asesor, dari hasil kunjungan visitasi kali ini pihaknya akan membuat laporan penilaian dan ia mengakui tim prodi Magister Ilmu Komputer FMIPA UGM sudah mempersiapkan diri dengan baik terkait kunjungan ini. “Mereka memberikan kami informasi setiap kali kami memiliki pertanyaan. Kami dapat bertemu dengan mahasiswa, dan itu selalu menjadi sorotan dari kunjungan-kunjungan yang kami lakukan. Mereka sangat bangga menjadi mahasiswa di universitas ini dan menjadi sebuah bukti yang menunjukkan bahwa kualitas program studi dan universitas ini sangat baik,” pungkasnya.

Kegiatan visitasi akreditasi oleh LAMINFOKOM bagi Program Studi Magister Ilmu Komputer ini memiliki kaitan yang signifikan dengan percepatan realisasi Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) khususnya SDGs4. Pendidikan Berkualitas (Quality Education) dan SDGs17. Kemitraan Untuk Mencapai Tujuan (Partnership to Achieve Goals).
