Simulasi Elektronika: Pembelajaran Berbasis Digital untuk Mengembangkan Keterampilan Praktik Mahasiswa DIKE UGM

Yogyakarta, 25 Juni 2025 – Simulasi Elektronika (SIMULEK) merupakan salah satu mata kuliah praktik di Laboratorium Elektronika Dasar, Departemen Ilmu Komputer dan Elektronika (DIKE) FMIPA UGM. Mata kuliah ini dirancang untuk memperkenalkan mahasiswa pada perancangan dan pengujian rangkaian elektronik secara virtual menggunakan perangkat lunak Proteus. Melalui pembelajaran ini, mahasiswa memperoleh pemahaman tentang prinsip kerja sistem elektronika tanpa perlu langsung berinteraksi dengan komponen fisik.

Pembelajaran dalam SIMULEK difokuskan pada pemodelan dan analisis rangkaian elektronik, termasuk penggunaan mikrokontroler, sensor, dan aktuator. Mahasiswa dilatih untuk membangun logika sistem, mensimulasikan rangkaian, serta mengamati kinerja output dari simulasi tersebut. Proses ini mengajarkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kemampuan menyusun solusi teknis yang terstruktur. Dengan simulasi, mahasiswa juga dapat menghindari risiko kerusakan komponen dan secara fleksibel mengeksplorasi rancangan hingga mencapai hasil optimal.

Beberapa proyek yang dikembangkan dalam SIMULEK melibatkan sistem otomasi sederhana, seperti kendali lampu pintar atau pemanfaatan panel surya otomatis. Meskipun bersifat simulatif, proyek-proyek ini dirancang untuk mendekati penerapan secara langsung, sehingga mahasiswa dapat mengasah keterampilan dalam merancang solusi teknologi yang dapat diterapkan. Materi yang diajarkan juga menumbuhkan kreativitas dan inovasi mahasiswa dalam menghadapi persoalan teknologi di kehidupan sehari-hari.

SIMULEK juga memberikan ruang pembelajaran yang terbuka dan hemat biaya. Tanpa memerlukan perangkat keras secara langsung, semua mahasiswa mendapat kesempatan yang sama untuk mengeksplorasi dan memahami sistem elektronika secara lebih mendalam. Melalui lingkungan simulasi virtual, mahasiswa dapat melakukan eksperimen tanpa batas, mengevaluasi berbagai skenario teknis, serta memperkuat pemahaman mereka terhadap infrastruktur dan sistem teknologi modern.

Mata kuliah ini juga mendukung pencapaian pada Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs), yaitu pada SDG 4 (Pendidikan Berkualitas) melalui pembelajaran interaktif yang menggabungkan pengetahuan teori dan simulasi praktik. Pada SDG 7 (Energi Bersih dan Terjangkau), mahasiswa diajarkan merancang sistem hemat energi dan solusi teknologi berkelanjutan. Sementara itu, kontribusi terhadap SDG 9 (Industri, Inovasi, dan Infrastruktur) terlihat dari pengembangan ide-ide inovatif yang berkaitan dengan otomasi dan sistem tertanam.
