Sosialisasi dan Promosi Program Pascasarjana DIKE FMIPA UGM ke 4 Perguruan Tinggi di Sumatera Selatan

Palembang – Departemen Ilmu Komputer dan Elektronika (DIKE) Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) kembali menggelar kegiatan sosialisasi dan promosi program Pascasarjana di empat perguruan tinggi di Palembang, Sumatera Selatan. Kegiatan ini berlangsung pada 14–17 April 2025 dengan rombongan terdiri dari Ketua Departemen IKE, Wahyono, S.Kom., Ph.D., Ketua Program Studi Doktoral Ilmu Komputer, Prof. Dr. Suprapto, M.I.Kom, dan staff administrasi Prodi Doktoral Ilmu Komputer, Sugeng Raharjo. Dalam kegiatan ini, Tim DIKE mengunjungi empat kampus yang ada di Kota Palembang.

Kampus pertama yang dikunjungi adalah Universitas Multi Data Palembang. Di sini, rombongan UGM disambut hangat oleh Wakil Rektor III, Dedy Hermanto, S.Kom., M.T.I., Wakil Rektor IV, Charisma Ayu P., M.HRM., bersama Dekan Fakultas Ilmu Komputer dan Rekayasa, Dr. Wijang Widhiarso, M.Kom. Diskusi berlangsung interaktif dan penuh antusiasme dari civitas akademika kampus. Masih di hari yang sama, kunjungan berlanjut ke Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (UIGM). Tim UGM diterima langsung oleh Wakil Rektor Bidang Kerjasama, Dr. Tien Yustini, S.E., M.Si., Wakil Rektor Bidang Keuangan, Dr. Herri Setiawan, S.Kom., M.Kom., serta Dekan Fakultas Ilmu Komputer dan Sains, H. Rudi Heriansyah, S.T., M.Eng., Ph.D. Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh para dosen dan mahasiswa, dan menjadi ajang tanya jawab seputar prospek studi lanjut di DIKE UGM.

Keesokan harinya, pada 16 April 2025, rombongan melanjutkan promosi ke Universitas Sriwijaya. Di sana, mereka disambut oleh Wakil Dekan Bidang Akademik Fakultas Ilmu Komputer, Samsuryadi, M.Kom., Ph.D. bersama jajarannya. Sosialisasi dilakukan di Ruang Sidang 2 Gedung Diklat Fasilkom dan mendapat perhatian besar dari para dosen. Sebagai penutup, kunjungan dilakukan ke Universitas Bina Darma. Sambutan datang dari Wakil Rektor Bidang Akademik, M. Izman Herdiansyah, S.T., M.M., Ph.D. serta Wakil Rektor Bidang Kemahasiswaan, Alumni, dan Kerjasama, Dr. Yanti Pasmawati, S.T., M.T. Kegiatan juga dihadiri oleh para dekan dan kaprodi, serta dosen muda yang masih bergelar S2 yang menunjukkan minat besar untuk melanjutkan studi ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi.

“Respon yang kami terima sangat positif. Banyak dosen dan mahasiswa yang tertarik dan ingin tahu lebih lanjut tentang program Pascasarjana kami. Semoga ini menjadi awal kerja sama yang lebih erat,” kata Wahyono.

Kegiatan ini menjadi bagian dari upaya UGM dalam memperluas akses pendidikan tinggi bermutu di berbagai daerah. Selain memperkenalkan program studi, inisiatif ini juga sejalan dengan komitmen terhadap pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs), terutama SDG 4 yaitu Pendidikan Berkualitas. Dengan mendorong kolaborasi antar institusi dan membuka peluang studi lanjut, UGM turut membangun masa depan pendidikan yang lebih inklusif dan berdaya saing.
