Workshop Elektronika: Sarana Pengembangan Keterampilan Praktik Mahasiswa DIKE UGM

Yogyakarta, 23 Juni 2025 – Workshop Elektronika merupakan salah satu mata kuliah praktik yang dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Elektronika Dasar, Departemen Ilmu Komputer dan Elektronika (DIKE) FMIPA UGM. Mata kuliah ini dirancang untuk membekali mahasiswa dengan keterampilan di bidang elektronika, khususnya dalam merancang, merangkai, dan menguji perangkat elektronik sebagai dasar keterampilan untuk menjawab kebutuhan industri dan perkembangan teknologi.

Melalui pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis praktik, mahasiswa dilatih untuk memahami fungsi komponen elektronik, menyusun rangkaian, hingga melakukan troubleshooting secara mandiri. Proses ini tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan teknis, tetapi juga mendorong mahasiswa untuk berpikir kritis dan kreatif dalam menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapi. Setiap proyek yang dikerjakan menuntut pemahaman konseptual sekaligus inovasi, sehingga mahasiswa terbiasa dengan proses perancangan yang terstruktur dan dapat diterapkan.

Mata kuliah ini juga menjadi media pembelajaran yang menjembatani teori dan praktik. Konsep-konsep dasar elektronika yang sebelumnya hanya dipelajari secara teoritis kemudian dapat diuji langsung melalui eksperimen di laboratorium. Mahasiswa tidak hanya menghafal prinsip kerja suatu rangkaian, tetapi juga memahaminya melalui eksplorasi dan pengalaman langsung, yang pada akhirnya menumbuhkan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam dan relevan.

Melalui pengalaman praktik tersebut, Workshop Elektronika mendorong mahasiswa untuk menghasilkan ide-ide teknologi yang berpotensi diterapkan di masyarakat. Beberapa proyek yang dirancang memiliki kemungkinan dikembangkan menjadi solusi sederhana, seperti sistem pemantauan lingkungan atau perangkat penghemat energi. Proses ini sekaligus mengasah kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menyusun solusi berbasis teknologi yang bermanfaat.

Mata kuliah ini juga mendukung pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs). Pada SDG 4 (Pendidikan Berkualitas), Workshop Elektronika memberikan pengalaman belajar yang relevan melalui penggabungan antara pemahaman teori dan praktik langsung di laboratorium. Relevansi dengan SDG 9 (Industri, Inovasi, dan Infrastruktur) tercermin dari kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mengembangkan solusi teknologi yang mendukung kemajuan industri. Sementara itu, pada SDG 12 (Konsumsi dan Produksi yang Bertanggung Jawab), mata kuliah ini mendorong efisiensi energi dan pemanfaatan komponen secara berkelanjutan.
