Courses for Undergraduate Program in Electronics and Instrumentation
Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS)
Based on the details of the courses that have been prepared taking into account the study materials and profiles of graduates in the previous chapter, each course is mapped out in semesters according to the prerequisites. The learning load of the courses and the prerequisites of the courses are important keys in determining which ones are held in a particular semester. Overall, students take compulsory, elective and/or MBKM courses.Table Compulsory Courses contains the composition of compulsory courses every semester and the distribution of credits in each semester while Table Elective Courses contains the composition of elective courses each semester.

Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (General)
- All courses that have been completed in the old curriculum, credit and grades for these courses are still recognized.
- Compulsory courses in the old curriculum can become elective courses if their equivalence courses in the 2021 curriculum change to non-compulsory courses.
- Compulsory courses in the old curriculum can be canceled if the equivalence courses are no longer offered in the 2021 curriculum.
- If a student repeats a course in the old curriculum by taking its equivalence course in the 2021 Curriculum, then the course that is recognized is determined by the student himself, with grades and credits attached to it.
- Taking a course in the 2021 curriculum that requires prerequisite courses, it is also necessary to take these prerequisite courses.
- The equivalence table for each old curriculum subject to the 2021 Curriculum courses is regulated by each Study Program.
- Matters that have not been covered in this transitional regulation, are accommodated and handled by the relevant Department.
- The provisions in this transitional regulation only apply to students from the 2020/2021 batch and earlier.
Study Program (Special)
- Class of 2020 and earlier students may take prerequisite courses non- consecutively. For example, the Digital Signal Processing I and Digital Signal Processing II courses. Students class of 2020 and earlier may take Digital Signal Processing II courses first, and take Digital Signal Processing I courses in the following semester, in accordance with the course offerings in semesters I and II of the 2021/2022 academic year.
- In terms of determining courses that are recognized, the following regulations apply:
- If the equivalence is from 2 (two) courses in the 2016 Curriculum to 1 (one) course in the 2021 Curriculum, then students from batch 2020 and before (1) may determine the combination/pair of courses in the 2016 Curriculum by choosing which grade is the best OR (2) choose a full equivalence course in the 2021 Curriculum and complete the number of credits by taking elective courses OR (3) cancel one of the courses from the pair of courses in the 2016 curriculum and complete the number of credits by taking elective courses but may not admit three courses simultaneously.
For example, the Calculus I and Calculus II courses in the 2016 Curriculum are equivalent to the Calculus courses in the 2021 curriculum. Students from class of 2020 and earlier may choose pairs of courses that are recognized as Calculus I with Calculus or Calculus II with Calculus on the basis of a combination/value pair the best but may not admit 3 (three) courses, Calculus I, Calculus II, and Calculus, simultaneously. - If the equivalence is from 1 (one) course in the 2016 Curriculum to 2 (two) courses in the 2021 Curriculum, then students from batch 2020 and before may admit one or both of the equivalent courses.
- If the equivalence is from 2 (two) courses in the 2016 Curriculum to 1 (one) course in the 2021 Curriculum, then students from batch 2020 and before (1) may determine the combination/pair of courses in the 2016 Curriculum by choosing which grade is the best OR (2) choose a full equivalence course in the 2021 Curriculum and complete the number of credits by taking elective courses OR (3) cancel one of the courses from the pair of courses in the 2016 curriculum and complete the number of credits by taking elective courses but may not admit three courses simultaneously.
- Course prerequisites in the 2021 Curriculum which are equivalent to courses in the 2016 Curriculum that apply to students from batch 2020 and earlier are course prerequisites in the 2016 Curriculum.
In this curriculum, there are new courses but they are equated with the previous curriculum. The Table shows the equality of subjects in the 2016 Curriculum and the 2021 Curriculum.
