Dosen dan Tim Lab. Ektronika dan Instrumentas DIKE UGM Raih Hibah Hilirisasi Riset Prioritas untuk AgriWatchNet

Yogyakarta, 16 September 2025 –  Prof. Drs. Agus Harjoko, M.Sc., Ph.D., bersama tim dosen Laboratorium Elektronika dan Instrumentasi (Elins) Departemen Ilmu Komputer dan Elektronika (DIKE) FMIPA Universitas Gadjah Mada, berhasil meraih hibah Program Hilirisasi Riset Prioritas 2025 skema SINERGI dari Direktorat Jenderal Riset dan Pengembangan, Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi, Sains, dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia. Hibah ini diperoleh melalui proposal berjudul “Hilirisasi Sistem AgriWatchNet Berbasis IoT dan Drone untuk Pemantauan Pertanian Presisi Menuju Ketahanan Pangan 5.0.” 

Inovasi AgriWatchNet dikembangkan untuk menghadirkan sistem pemantauan pertanian presisi berbasis teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) dan drone cerdas. Melalui integrasi ini, petani maupun pemangku kebijakan dapat memperoleh data pertanian yang akurat, real-time, dan berkelanjutan. Sistem ini dirancang fleksibel sehingga dapat diimplementasikan baik pada lahan berskala kecil maupun besar, sekaligus mendorong peningkatan ketahanan pangan nasional dan kemandirian teknologi dalam era Pertanian 5.0.

Tim peneliti yang terlibat dalam proyek ini antara lain Dr. R. Sumiharto, S.Si., M.Kom. dan Zandy Yudha Perwira, S.Si., M.Cs. yang merupakan dosen DIKE FMIPA UGM, Roghib Muhammad Hujja, S.Si., M.Cs. mahasiswa doktoral Ilmu Komputer FMIPA UGM, serta Nasih Widya Yuwono, S.P., M.P. dari Fakultas Pertanian UGM.

Prof. Agus menyampaikan bahwa riset ini tidak hanya dijalankan oleh para dosen, tetapi juga melibatkan mahasiswa hingga masyarakat luas. “Proyek ini merupakan bentuk kolaborasi multi-stakeholder. Inovasi penelitian di DIKE semakin kuat dengan perpaduan pengalaman peneliti senior, semangat dosen muda, dukungan mitra industri, serta partisipasi masyarakat,”

Program hibah SINERGI ini dirancang pemerintah untuk mendorong percepatan hilirisasi hasil riset agar dapat berkembang menjadi produk yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat. Dengan adanya dukungan ini, AgriWatchNet diharapkan mampu menjadi salah satu terobosan Indonesia dalam menghadapi tantangan ketahanan pangan sekaligus memperkuat peran UGM sebagai pusat inovasi teknologi berbasis riset.

Capaian ini sekaligus menjadi kontribusi DIKE UGM terhadap pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs). AgriWatchNet mendukung SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) melalui peningkatan produktivitas pertanian, SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) dengan menghadirkan solusi berbasis teknologi, serta SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) melalui pengembangan sistem pertanian presisi yang berkelanjutan. Dengan adanya hibah ini, tim berharap inovasi AgriWatchNet dapat segera diimplementasikan secara luas dan memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat.
